Refined Depth from Uji, Kyoto

Kinrin (金輪) – meaning “Golden Ring” – represents balance, harmony, and quiet strength.
Among the finest ceremonial matchas from Marukyu Koyamaen, Kinrin is crafted for tea masters who seek clarity, richness, and serenity in one cup.

Hand-picked from the earliest spring harvests in Uji, Kyoto, then stone-milled to perfection, Kinrin Matcha offers a velvety texture and a deep umami that lingers gently.
It embodies what the Japanese call shibumi — subtle beauty in simplicity.

Taste & Experience

  • Flavor: deep umami, mild natural sweetness, silky finish

  • Color: intense jade green with elegant foam

  • Texture: soft and creamy, balanced and pure
Kinrin is ideal for koicha (thick ceremonial matcha), but also exceptional as a daily ritual for those who appreciate refined calm and authentic Japanese taste.

How to Prepare

  1. Sift 2g (½ tsp) of matcha into a chawan (tea bowl)

  2. Add 60–70ml hot water (80°C / 176°F)

  3. Whisk briskly in a “W” motion until smooth and foamy

  4. Enjoy slowly — appreciating its warmth and depth
